Trading Post guide For farmville

The Trading Post is now available in FarmVille! With the new crop orders from the Trading Post you will be able to master your crops faster and help your friends master theirs! If you are working toward mastery of a Limited Edition crop that is about to expire, the Trading Post can give you those last few points you need to get a Mastery Sign!

The next time you play FarmVille, you will receive the opportunity to place a Trading Post on your farm. After you see the Trading Post announcement, the Trading Post will be on your mouse pointer and you can place it on your farm by clicking in an open space.

If you don’t see this, don’t quite have enough room on your farm, or just want to wait until later, don’t worry! You can return to your normal cursor and find the Trading Post in your Gift box or the Market for placement later.

Please keep in mind that while you can place a Trading Post on either one or both farms, however placing multiple trading posts doesn’t double the number of orders you’re able to place.

Using the Trading Post to Order Crops

Once your Trading Post is placed, you can “Look Inside” it to see what crops your neighbors have ready to trade!

When you open your Trading Post you will see a list of all the crops your friends have recently planted. Beneath each crop for each friend you will see a button labeled “Post Order” for that crop. If the button is green the crop is available for orders! Just click it and let your friend know you want to order their crop!

When your Neighbors harvest their crops, your order will be ready to claim. To do this, just go back to the For Sale screen and click on any crops with a “Claim” button under them. You will be granted some coin and Mastery XP in that crop when you claim a completed order.

It is important to know that you can only take orders for crops once every twelve hours. You only have to plant one plot for a crop to be able to take orders for it, and you do need to harvest it to complete any orders you have taken. You also have to be level five in order to place and use a Trading Post on your farm.

And now for the upcoming events:
1.Holiday tree will be released soon in the coming week but its functioning will be a bit different than the previous release.
You will need to collect holiday gifts from neighbors and place it in your holiday tree.

Now the number of ways you can collect holiday gifts as far as I know is..
a. Get it from your winter workshop.
b. When you visit you neighbors farm you can get holiday gifts from their workshop too I think.
c. You can collect it from the various bonuses shared by your friends and neighbors.
As you collect gifts, you will be able to redeem your gifts for special prizes along the way as you unlock them.
As you keep on collecting gifts your trees look will also change according to it getting prettier with every change.
Since it is holiday time and every body waits for presents so this time Zynga has come up with this new change.

when you redeem a special prize, instead of sharing an extra one via your feed as per usual, we’re going to let you pick which friends you would like to send it to as a present
Also Players who participate in this feature may also see a special present from Zynga this year, so make sure to keep an eye out for this release in the near future.

2. Snow man , Snow lady:

This is a big surprise coming up from Zynga.(This will be released in the coming weeks so be patient and be on the look out for it.)

a. Players will be able to have snowball fights with each other by visiting neighbors farm or joining an on going fight.
b. This snow ball fight will eventually give you pile of snow which you can use to make snow man.(It can be gifted as well I think)
c. And if you are able to find the right item you might be able to make your snow man dance for you.

Latest updates on farmville

Hello,
I am back here with latest updates on farmville right from the official sources.
First here is the podcast that was released.


Now here is what it is all about in simplified form.
A brief review of the contest (community event) .
1. You need to recreate your favorite FarmVille themes, animals or decorations into yummy desserts and post a picture on the forums for people to judge there.
2. There will be five winners for each the best cakes, the best cookies and the best desserts. (There Bonus points will be given to farmers who name their desert and give us a brief explanation of their creation.)
3. The winners from each category will be get 1000 Fv cash, 1million  Coins and any Limited Edition FarmVille item of their choice (as long as it is currently available in-game or has been previously released*).
Most important..
This is not an in game event. You need to make real dishes at your home as mentioned above, and take their pictures and post it to the forum(It has nothing to do on decoration on your farm.) It is actually good thought that people are allowed to get away from their computer.
4. The contest ends on 6 pm december 1st.


Now about the thanksgiving feast table.
1. You need to be at level 5 or higher to get it.
2. As soon as the first time you enter farmville you will be provided with it and you will be in placement mode. Now you can either place it on your farm or put it in your gift box.

After December 1, 2010 you will no longer be able to gift additional Dishes, ask for additional Dishes, or purchase Dishes with Farm Cash from the Market. The Thanksgiving Feast will also be removed from the Market and Dishes will no longer be available with the Special Delivery Box.

Now to the items and things that are coming soon
1. Limited Edition Winter Holiday items are going to come soon in the near future. Some previous items will be re released that were your favorite ones.

2. Chicken coop expansion will be soon coming up. So that you can store more than 60 chickens now. Finally a long awaited request is going to be full filled. Let us hope the also bring the dairy expansion soon.

Farmville latest release

Farmville will soon release a buildable new funhouse decoration This building will be available for farm cash or it can be constructed with building components received from your friends and neighbors.
So keep on look out for this as I read on the net that it looks pretty good.
Also now you can find in place where you find ribbons and collections the masteries.

Here you can find all the masterythat you have achieved in the crops and trees.

you will also learn how much is left to achieve the mastery for different crops and trees.
I hope they also introduce about the mastery from the goods buildings.
Also you farmville is introducing turkey roost soon. It will be a limited edition item so keep looking for it.
In turkey roost building you can place all your turkeys.you can expand their roosts twice to house up to 40 turkeys in total. When harvesting your roost you will have a chance of receiving baby turkeys to share, or an item that can be used in the upcoming thanksgiving holiday basket feature.

Orchards are finally here

Hello,
Farmville has finally introduced the new orchard that was awaited and that I informed earlier about.

Here are its functioning details.
You need to place the unfinished orchard in your farm. Than this screen will appear.

Share this so that people gift you the required items.
You need 10 of each bricks wooden boards and nails.

Now the details of functioning is explained here in the picture.

You place 20 trees in the orchard.
They get ready and you harvest them.
When you harvest them in orchard you may find a seedling from one of your trees.
Grow it into new trees using watering cans.
This is what I understand till now and will be telling more details soon as soon as I understand them or find them in internet.

Zynga introduces new and proper ways to send and receive gifts

Zynga has introduced new way of sending and receiving gifts which is far more faster and easier.

Here is the new changed look of goods building and a guide on how to work with this new changed look and functionality.

In the left side you can see all the tables.

In this picture I have all goods ready to finish.To finish press finish it on each one.

You can buy goods from other if you want to by clicking on GET GOODS on top left.

You can use your goods to get fuel by clicking on USE GOODS on top left.

You can also check what you are offering by clicking on MY SALES at the center top.

You can also find unfinished goods where it will tell you time to finish it. And when you put your cursor over it, it will give you option to finish it instantly using fv cash.

Now if you have any table free you can make goods.

If you lack bushels for any particular recipe  you click get bushels and you will be taken to this new screen.

It shows only those bushels that are required in the recipie. So it is easy now to get what ever you need by click on GET button. where you will be taken to that particular's person inventory. You can get 3 bushels from 1 person in 1 day not more than that.

You can start your own co op job by clicking on Start bushel co-op job or you can buy all ingredients with fv cash by clicking on Buy all Ingredients button.

Is Farmville trying to force us to send the gifts to neighbors

Howdy farmers,
I was just playing farmville when I realized this new thing in farm.
This gift options with changes starts popping up interrupting my farm work.

Now as you can see there are no close button and no cancel  button.
So how am I suppose to cancel it if I am in a hurry and wont have time to send it at that time.
It doesnt mean that I am a bad neighbor. NO, I am a good neighbor. But some times you just need to do your farm when you dont have time to send gifts. But now This is also not a option.
What do you feel about this.
